Dale is a Metis carver who was born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, now lives in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador. Dale works mostly in serpentine and antler. He does drum dancers, hunters, bears and parka-hooded busts.
The narwhal, or narwhale, is a medium-sized toothed whale that possesses a large “tusk” from a protruding canine tooth. It lives year-round in the Arctic waters around Greenland.
